Livro #66 a #68 - Trilogia "Abandon", de Meg Cabot

Há uns anos atrás peguei no primeiro livro desta trilogia e quando cheguei às 100 páginas arrumei-o para o lado porque apesar da sinopse ser bastante interessante o desenvolvimento da história estava a ser bastante aborrecida. Infelizmente isso não mudou.
Meti na cabeça que nem que adormecesse a cada cinco minutos, ia terminar a trilogia.
Odeio quando um autor tem uma boa ideia, cria a premissa para uma boa história e depois fica-se por aí. Basicamente trata-se de um retelling da história de Perséfone e Hades e por mais interessante que possa parecer as personagens são completamente desinteressantes e sem qualquer desenvolvimento e os acontecimentos são lentos, aborrecidos e alguns chegam a roçar o idiota.
Temos uma rapariga de 17 anos que voltou do Underworld onde conheceu o rapaz/homem que é o equivalente ao Hades. Desde esse momento que ele tenta rapta-la e torna-la a "rainha" do Underworld.
Chega um ponto na história em que ela acaba por contar aos pais o que se passa e a reacção deles é basicamente "okay, leva a nossa filha de 17 anos para o Underworld, nós compreendemos perfeitamente a situação. Queres ajuda?" ... WTF?
Eu queria muito que esta fosse uma boa trilogia, não só por causa da premissa, mas porque é da Meg Cabot, mas não, não consegui gostar de nenhum dos livros e dar duas estrelas aos livros já foi "forçar" muito.
